Is the free version actually usable, or just a limited trial?
Usable for real work. The six everyday calculators (disbursement, multi-plaintiff, referral split, statutory interest, probate, fee in context) run start to finish and show the complete result; printed output carries a JuraSum watermark. The strategy tools open in a working preview so you can see precisely how they read.
What does “preview” mean for the strategy tools?
Each strategy tool opens on a realistic worked example, with the walkthrough available, so you see the full build and learn how to read it. Entering your own numbers, saving the matter, and printing it clean is what Pro unlocks.
Where do saved matters live?
On your device, in your browser, like the rest of JuraSum. Pro lets you save a matter and reopen it later; the figures stay on your machine, and you can export one to a file to move it to another computer or hand it to the team. Nothing is uploaded.
What is the founding rate?
Beta firms lock $29/mo for as long as they stay subscribed, even after the list price rises to $49 for firms who join later. It is our thank-you for getting in early. The price is free while you are in the beta, through the end of 2026.
Where does my client data go?
Nowhere. The math runs in your browser and the figures never leave your device, on Free and on Pro. The account exists only for billing.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. It is month to month: cancel whenever, and you keep Pro through the period you paid for.
Is this legal advice?
No. JuraSum is a calculation aid. You supply and confirm every rate, schedule, and figure against controlling authority. The tool never asserts the law for you.
